Visitor Center Information

The visitor center is located at 500 Railroad Avenue. We are now staffed to remain open seven (7) days a week to serve our tourists and community. Our phone number is (505) 425-3707. The visitor center is open Monday,Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AMto 4:00 PM and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Las Vegas Day @ the Legislature

The Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the City of Las Vegas coordinated Las Vegas Day at the Legislature and was a big success. Exhibits were set up by the City of Las Vegas, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation, Mainstreet, DWI Program, New Mexico Highlands University and Luna Community College. Entertainment was provided at the State Capitol Rotunda by Mariachi Paisano del Valle and by the member of the dance group, Baille Illusion.

KOAT Advertisement

The LV/SM Chamber of Commerce has begun promoting a series of events on the KOAT.com website through the New Mexico Tourism Department’s annual Cooperative Advertising Program and City Lodger’s Tax funding. We will be beginning ad spots to promote events on channel 7 beginning in July.
